The app uses the Umm Al Qura calendar for calculating hijri dates, as this is the most universal calendar. 

If you would like to make an adjustment to the date: 

Go to Settings > Time > Tap the +/- buttons to make the adjustment

NOTE: Please also check the “Auto-increment hijri” setting. If it is enabled, the hijri date will change at Maghrib, instead of midnight.
